I was deeply impacted by the people I met in Switzerland’s during my travels. They were ready to share their stories and showed heat and hospitality.~ .. I put up a conversation with a local artist at a the city stop who shared his joy for traditional Swiss crafts. His love for and loyalty to his work were clear, and it made me realise how important it is to follow one’s passions in life.
Naturally, visiting Switzerland would not be complete without sampling some cheese and chocolate from Switzerland. At a local Interlaken market, I had the good luck to sample some of the best dairy products and chocolates. I was overcome with nostalgia and delight as I tasted each delicious bite due to the amazing flavours. The wonderful food of Switzerland left me with a priceless memory that I will always treasure.
We slipped through glowing lakes as the Euro Train won on, their calm waters acting as a mirror to the regarding mountains. The feeling of peace and reflection was caused by the lakes’ peace and clear blue tones. I was lost in reflection as I thought about how beautiful the natural world is and how important it is to protect it for coming generations.
The train ride was especially moving when it went by a field of Swiss cattle, their pleasing cowbells producing a peaceful symphony’s. The harmony between man and nature that is so deeply rooted in Swiss culture has been expressed by these soft monsters. It served as a helpful reminder of how crucial it is to appreciate and get along with what we have.
